As Digital Marketing Executive at The Skin Surgery Clinic, I worked across digital campaigns, social media and website content to promote surgical and dermatology services.
My work combined marketing with hands-on creative production, from professional photography and videography, including surgical footage, surgeon interviews and staff and clinic content, to copywriting, graphic design and WordPress updates. Working closely with clinical teams, I created clear, informative content to showcase the clinic’s expertise and help prospective patients understand their treatment options.
Graphic Design
I created a range of designs for social media, the website and print, including treatment carousels, adverts, patient review graphics, web banners and clinic flyers.
Using Canva and Adobe Creative Suite, I kept everything in line with the clinic’s branding, with a focus on making information clear and easy to read. I adapted designs for different uses, from Instagram posts and stories to printed materials in the clinic.
Social Media
When I joined, around 90% of the clinic’s business came through search engines, so social media wasn’t a big priority. I felt there was room to do more with it and show how it could bring in enquiries too.
I created content for Instagram, Facebook and TikTok, this helped increase enquiries from social media by 100% in one month, showing the difference it could make to the business.

Short-form videos like this are gold dust for social media. In just a few seconds, they give people a clear look at the procedure and the care and professionalism behind it.
This reel generated 19,335 views and 104 new followers just from Instagram, showing how a simple video of what happens in the clinic everyday can capture people’s interest.

Website Content

I created and updated pages on the clinic’s website using Wordpress, including treatment information, clinician profiles, team pages and patient stories.
This involved writing and arranging content, adding photography and video, updating banners and making sure pages worked across desktop, tablet and mobile. I focused on helping visitors find the information they needed and making the next step towards an enquiry clear.
Videography
I filmed and edited surgeon interviews, treatment footage, patient stories and short videos for social media. Some explained procedures in more detail, while others gave people a quick look at everyday work in the clinic.
I managed the setup, lighting and sound through to editing in Adobe Premiere Pro, working closely with clinicians to make sure the content was clear and accurate.

Photography
I photographed clinicians, staff and clinic spaces to build a collection of images for the website, social media and print. This included professional headshots, team photos and natural shots of staff at work, giving people a feel for the clinic before they visited.
I handled the lighting, photography and editing, keeping the images consistent with the clinic’s branding.
Print Content
I designed flyers and banners for the clinic, keeping them consistent with the website and wider branding. I adapted the layouts for each format, making sure the key information was clear and easy to read, particularly on the larger banners.
