My time with Sheffield Eagles was my first real experience being around a professional rugby league environment.

It gave me a chance to see how matchdays run behind the scenes and get a feel for working in that kind of setting. Being part of it helped build my confidence and gave me a better understanding of how everything comes together on a matchday.

Matchday Content

During a matchday's, I was responsible for operating the “Eagle Eye” camera, capturing live gameplay as it happened.

It meant staying focused throughout the game, following play closely, and making sure key moments were picked up. Being involved in a live match environment like that was a great experience and gave me a better understanding of how content is captured and used in real time.

Training Content

I also attended a wheelchair rugby league training sessions, where I captured photos of the squad.

It was a good opportunity to get involved from a content point of view, focusing on timing, movement, and capturing moments naturally. Being around a different format of the game added something new as well, and helped build my confidence behind the camera.
